Prescription eyewear existed before NVC Eyewear. Patient recall software existed before SightSync. We didn't invent either category, and we're not trying to. What we do is take something that already works for someone else and rebuild every part of it that was cutting a corner: the prescription range that stopped at a number convenient for the retailer, not the customer; the multi-tenant database that trusted an application flag instead of the database itself to keep one practice's patients separate from another's.

Getting that right meant building our own storefront, our own prescription tools, and our own infrastructure, rather than renting someone else's and inheriting their compromises. That same approach now runs Vantage Athletics, a grappling and training wear brand, and SightSync, an AI recall platform for UK optical practices. Each is a real, independently operated business, not a case study.
